Internship

The Internship programme is designed for young people who are just starting out in leadership. It seeks to build the foundations of Godly leadership that is Christ centred and motivated by love. The programme has 3 components:
  1. The residential training course that runs for 6 days during PY Summer Camp. This involves teaching sessions and discussion groups.
  2. Local church ministry and follow up. For the first 6 months after residential training, leaders will participate in some form of ministry back at their local church. As well as this, a person from their local church will provide mentoring to the leader during this time.
  3. Assistant leaders at PY Winter Camp & Evaluation. Young leaders will spend time reflecting with each other and older leaders on their Christian growth. They will be assistant leaders and Winter Camp.
Essentially, the PY Internship Programme seeks to provide young leaders with a deeper understanding of God’s word, to help build the foundations of their faith and to train them in practical skills of leadership and ministering to others. For more information:
