YOUR YOUTH MINISTRY

Moments through which the Youth in your Community engage with the Bible.

Your Youth Ministry is unique. You face opportunities, challenges, frustrations & joys only you know. Your Team may have 3 or 30 Leaders. You may have too many Youth to handle or be praying for more to come through the doors. You may run a program on Friday night, Sunday afternoon or both. You may have a Bible talk followed by a study or you may just have a study. You may be just starting out or you may have been running for 10 years. You may have resources at your disposal or you may not.

“PYNSW CAMPS HAVE ALLOWED MY CHURCH TO CREATE A CULTURE OF SHARED EXPERIENCES FOR BOTH OUR LEADERS AND THE YOUTH THAT GO TO CAMP. AND ALSO ALLOW OUR KIDS TO INTERACT WITH KIDS FROM AROUND THE STATE.”

- KELLY SHELDON

THE CASE FOR RESOURCES

Resources support & further the work of Youth Ministry.

With smart phones and social media we have more ways to communicate these days than ever. But how do we communicate with the God of the universe? Thanks to Jesus we can call him Father and talk to him anytime. But how? That really hasn’t changed. The book of Psalms was the prayer book of ancient Israel. And through the Psalms God teaches us to pray. We will look at the first six and the last Psalm as lessons in prayer.

CAMP IS A RESOURCE

A gospel-centred temporary residential community for Youth from across NSW to know & grow in Jesus.

PYNSW Camps are a resource at your disposal. They are grounded in the Gospel, challenging Youth where they stand before Jesus, encouraging them to grow in their love & knowledge of Him. We design Camp to build community & relationships with Youth from all across NSW. We pour effort into ensuring they are memorable experiences for years to come.

They are a resource at your disposal to be plugged into your Youth Ministry.

“IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO OVERSTATE THE JOY OF SEEING TEENAGERS FROM DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS GROW TOGETHER AROUND GOD'S WORD, AND REALISE THAT DESPITE HOW THINGS MAY SOMETIMES FEEL THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, THEY'RE NOT ALONE.”

- JOSH NEWANS

HOW TO USE CAMP

Schedule, Encourage & Debrief

  3. Debrief with your Youth afterwards

“I HAVE SEEN PYNSW CAMPS SERVING AS A BRILLIANT WAY OF CONNECTING, CHALLENGING, ENGAGING, DISCIPLESHIP, FELLOWSHIP AND DEEPENING FAITH.”

- TOM WALL

WHY USE CAMP

Bible based, Simple to Integrate, Local Church focused & a Memorable Experience.

Bible based

At the core of Camp is the Gospel, as uncovered in the Bible. Our Speakers are theologically trained and predominantly minister in Presbyterian Churches around NSW. Many of our Leaders have undertaken formal theological training and all Leaders are specifically prepared prior to Camp in the Biblical theme of that specific Camp. Each day at Camp, significant time is spent in the Bible, wrestling with God’s Word.

Simple to Integrate

Integrating Camp into your Youth Ministry is easy. Simply put it in the Calendar and encourage your Youth to attend - no other work required.

Local Church focused

The Local Church is the epicentre of Youth Ministry. You are on the front lines. We are dedicated to supporting you. The Youth you send, we seek to return to you, encouraged & built up in the Gospel.

Memorable Experience

Camp is fun! A team dedicates months of planning to create experiences on Camp that form communities, bring laughter & will be remembered for years to come. Activities that consider the different interests people hold - from those that love to run to those that love to sit. Experiences that form relationships for the sake of sharing the Gospel.

“PYNSW CAMPS ARE WORTH 6-MONTHS (OR MORE!) OF REGULAR FRIDAY NIGHTS AND SUNDAYS IN THE DISCIPLESHIP OF YOUTH AT NEW LIFE”

- RUSSELL SMIDT
